Long Beach State senior Jason Smith won the men's high jump with a clearance of 7-2.50 (2.20m), in addition to prevailing in the long jump with a leap of 25-6.25 (7.78m) at the Stanford Invitational at Cobb Track and Angell Field. Smith, who also won the long jump March 27 at the Bob Larsen Track Meet with a leap of 25-1.75 (7.66m), competed in the high jump for the first time in more than a year.
