Molly Huddle placed second in the women's 10,000 meters in 30:58.46 at the 44th Stanford Invitational at Cobb Track and Angell Field. Huddle, the American record holder at 30:13.17 from the 2016 Olympics, now boasts three of the top nine performances in U.S. history. Both Huddle and winner Emily Sisson (30:49.57), who elevated to the No. 3 all-time American performer, ran under the previous meet record of 31:04.85 set by Shalane Flanagan in 2013.
